About Daniel
Daniel Rata was born in New Zealand and moved to Australia to pursue his musical career.
Daniel’s talents have led him to collaborate with award-winning musicians and producers including British Grammy nominated producer John Ravenhall, who works with the biggest names in the music industry: Elton John, Sir Paul McCartney, Sting, Rod Stewart and Van Morrison.
With a combination of influences from Coldplay, George Ezra, Adele, and Ed Sheeran, Daniel continues to develop his own distinctive style and sound.

As a singer-songwriter Daniel has produced a broad repertoire of original songs across his existing EPs and album.
Daniel has worked with renowned international producers and musicians including the leading Broadway regular Carey Deadman, the distinguished Chicago musician and music-arranger. Carey plays and tours with Barbara Streisand, Sting, Billy Joel, Seal, Michael Buble’, Celine Dion, Faith Hill and Frank Sinatra. Together Daniel and Carey collaborated to create his EPs “Life” and “Sunshine.
This summer brings big things as Daniel continues to develop his distinctive style with the launch of his brand-new EP entitled “Forever Us”, along with the production of a music video to accompany the title track.
Daniel will release his single “Forever Us” from the EP in 2019.
